Terms of Use

The terms that apply when you use this site.

Last updated: September 2026. These terms apply to catabalzanoinc.com. The company’s brand properties operate on their own domains under their own terms.

Agreement to these terms

This site is operated by Cata Balzano, Inc. (an S corporation), referred to here as “the Company,” “we” or “us.” By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please don’t use the site.

What this site is

This is an informational corporate site. It describes the Company, the brands it owns and operates, the work it does, and how to get in touch. Nothing here is an offer to contract, a price quotation, a solicitation of investment, or professional advice of any kind.

Accuracy and availability

We work to keep the information here current and correct, but it is provided as-is and may change without notice. Descriptions of brands and capabilities are general summaries, not commitments. We don’t guarantee the site will be available without interruption, and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time.

Permitted use

You may read, link to, quote with attribution, and print pages from this site for your own reference or in the ordinary course of business or journalism.

You may not:

  • copy or republish the site substantially, or use it to build a competing or derivative site;
  • scrape, harvest or systematically extract content, or use automated means that place an unreasonable load on the site;
  • use our or our brands’ names, wordmarks or logos in a way that suggests a partnership, endorsement or affiliation that does not exist;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or any system behind it, or interfere with its security features;
  • use the site for anything unlawful, or to send anything defamatory, harassing, infringing or malicious.

Intellectual property

The text, design, layout, code, brand names and marks on this site are owned by the Company or used with permission, and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. Nothing on the site grants you a licence to any of it beyond the permitted use described above.

Third-party names, marks and logos that appear on the site belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.

Using the contact form

The contact form is for genuine enquiries. Please don’t use it for unsolicited sales messages, bulk mail or automated submissions, and please don’t send confidential or sensitive material through it.

Sending an enquiry does not create a client, agency, representation, employment, partnership or confidential relationship, and it does not obligate us to respond. Any engagement begins only with a written agreement signed by both sides.

Ideas and feedback you send us

If you send us an unsolicited idea, pitch, concept or suggestion, we can’t treat it as confidential, and you agree we may use it without obligation or compensation. We may already be working on something similar. If you have something you need protected, tell us before you send it and we can agree terms first.

The company's brands and affiliated entities

The Company owns and operates the properties listed on this site, except where a property is marked otherwise. Bentley’s Playhouse, and the Fénix Animal Project it runs, are founded by Cata Balzano but held by a separate legal entity — a nonprofit corporation registered in Florida. They are shown here because of that shared founder, not because either is a Company asset, and the Company is not responsible for them. Bentley’s Playhouse has not been granted federal tax-exempt status, and nothing on this site should be read as stating that a gift to it is tax-deductible.

Services provided by the Company’s brands are contracted and invoiced through Cata Balzano, Inc. Each brand’s own site is governed by that site’s terms.

Links to other sites

This site links to the Company’s brand properties and, occasionally, to third-party sites. We don’t control third-party sites and aren’t responsible for their content, products or practices. A link is not an endorsement.

Disclaimers

The site and its contents are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy or uninterrupted availability, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company and its officers, employees and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of your use of — or inability to use — this site, even if we have been advised such damages are possible.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability relating to the site is limited to one hundred US dollars (US$100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising out of your misuse of this site or your breach of these terms.

Privacy

Our handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts located there will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of the site.

General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms are the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding use of this site.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted here is the one that applies, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.

Contact

Questions about these terms go through the contact form. Choose “Other” as the type of enquiry.
